FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers about donating, volunteering, our launch stage, and how Serply works with war-affected children in Ukraine.

Is Serply a school?

No. Serply is a charitable organization — we do not enroll students or deliver academic instruction. We support children's learning recovery with materials and support their teachers with training. Schools remain schools; we help them.

How can I donate?

Email info@serply.org or use the contact form, and we will send bank transfer or PayPal details within 24 hours. An integrated online donation platform is in development. Every gift receives a receipt.

Your programs are 'launching' — what does my donation fund right now?

Launch costs are real costs: procurement of kit materials, curriculum development with practicing teachers, partner onboarding and logistics. Our Transparency page shows the milestone plan, and actual spending will be published there.

Why don't you show impact numbers?

Because we don't have verified ones yet, and we won't invent them. Results will be published as each milestone is reached — including anything that falls short.

Which communities will you work in?

Frontline-adjacent and de-occupied hromadas, and communities hosting many internally displaced families. Specific partners are announced once agreements are signed, with community consent and security considerations in mind.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

That depends on your country of residence. Serply is registered in Ukraine (EDRPOU 65405954); we provide official donation receipts you can use according to your local tax rules.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes — most roles are fully remote: content, translation, fundraising research, design and education advisory. See Volunteer.

How do you protect the children you work with?

Distribution and program delivery run through schools and trusted community institutions. We never publish names, photos or lists of individual child recipients.

How quickly do you respond to enquiries?

Within 48 hours for general messages, and within 24 hours for donation enquiries.
